	TEDWORTH TRAIL HUNTING PRACTICE

	The Tedworth Hunt is a Trail Hunt. The Hunt follows hounds which seek scent laid by human quarry. A chemical that can be detected by hounds is laid for the hounds and the Hunting Field to follow. In order that Trail Hunting should replicate as many of the mysteries of foxhunting as possible, careful arrangements are made for trail-laying. Mounted trail-layers who may, at times, be visible to the field will lay scent. In addition, further low profile trail-layers who will not be visible to the Mounted Field, will lay further scent.
